Einlanzer is a good game. I am incredibly confident and proud of it. The storyline is complex, original, and thought-provoking. The only thing I am nervous about is that people are going to see or hear that it is an RPG Maker game and immediately write it off.
There are SO MANY BAD RPG MAKER GAMES OUT THERE! I am amazed at the garbage that people put out there and call it a completed game. Many make silly, short games just to share among friends which is totally fine and a fun idea… but why try to market something that is garbage.
RPG Maker was designed for people to follow their dream of making an RPG like the classics from the 90’s. I believe Einlanzer is fulfilling the project goal of the RPG Maker software better than any other game made on the software I have ever seen. I feel that if I could go back in time and release Einlanzer on the SNES in the days of Final Fantasy IV and VI, it would be regarded as one of the greats of the time. The problem is in this day-and-age, everyone is trying to do this kind of thing to make a quick buck. They try to tell you that their game is the real deal… but then you play it and it is infantile, simple, cliche’, and poorly designed. Einlanzer IS the real deal. Expect a quality ~40 or 50 hour classic RPG experience.
